David V. Wilbanks died 16 Dec 1916 in Equality. His death certificate says he is buried at the Methodist Cemetery in Equality. Is there someone willing to visit the cemetery and take a picture for me -- hard copy or digital image. Also, he was married at the time of his death, so his wife may be buried near him -- a picture of that marker would be welcome, as well. This was his second wife. Her name was Hattie Haygood. His first wife, Martha Caroline Cross, is buried in Smith County, Texas, where they lived for many years. I am willing to pay any costs and compensate the volunteer. Thank you, Margie
In the "Coosa County Cemetery Book, Volume I, there is a D. V. Wilbanks listed, born 10/10/1831, died 11/16/1916 and listed in this book "2 unmarked graves in this area" after his name. I found over 15 other Wilbanks listed in this Volume. Wayne Sewell Coosa County Historical Society Margie Landreville <[email protected]> wrote: David V. Wilbanks died 16 Dec 1916 in Equality. Wayne, are there any Holman or Holeman names in that cemetary book? If so, if it available for purchase? Thanks, Virginia Howard
