Howard, Jr. is a grandson of Lamar and Vera White who owned adjoining land to my grandparents before selling part of it to my Aunt Grace in 1946 and re-locating to Whigham, GA. Their property was a few miles west of Rockford near what is now hway 22 and included some of Swamp Creek through it. Two of their daughters, Minnie and Virginia still live in Whigham. Howard, Sr., their son, died a few years ago, but lived in Sylacauga for years. I never heard of a Charlie, but he was before my time, so I don't know if he is a relatie or not. Howard White, Jr. of Tuscaloosa's mother is still in Sylacauga, Dera, but she has recently re-married and I don't remember her new last name.
