Well, Wayne, that's probably the David Wilbanks I'm looking for even though the dates are a little different than what I have. I'm disappointed there are no markers. The Wilbanks/Willbanks in the book you mentioned are probably all related. He was from a large family and had a large family. He had a son, George T. who stayed in Alabama when he moved to Texas. George T.'s wife was Arar Nettie Bailey. He also had a son, John R. Wilbanks that I lost sight of after the 1870 census -- would he, perhaps be listed> Margie ----- Original Message ----- From: "Wayne Sewell" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, October 17, 2003 3:32 PM Subject: Re: [ALCOOSA] Cemetery picture request > In the "Coosa County Cemetery Book, Volume I, there is a D. W. born 12/23/1843, died 6/15/1911 next to him is Martha Ann Gilliland Wilbanks (wife of Geo. W. Wilbanks), born 10/7/1849, died 5/17/1912 Wayne Sewell Coosa County Historical Society Margie Landreville <[email protected]> wrote: Well, Wayne, that's probably the David Wilbanks I'm looking for even though the dates are a little different than what I have.
