My Step-Father descended from BUSH & KIMBELL lines, both from Elmore & Coosa Counties, Ala. He died in 1995 and a box of old letters was passed to me. Having just begun to read them, and to trace his lines, I want to share this information with as many as possible. My Step-Father's paternal grandparents were Theodore Bush & Mattie Jewel Kimbell of Eros, Jackson Parish, La...most of these old letters were written to Mattie from relatives back in Ala. Through these old papers, I have learned that Mattie was a child of PEYTON G. KIMBELL and his wife CLARA INGRAM. Many clues are in these letters. Enjoy!
