Rebecca Roberson, b. abt. 1792 in SC, parents unknown, married John Causey in 1810 in Putnam Co. GA. In 1820, this couple is in Jefferson Co. GA. In 1821-1822, they move to what will become Coosa Co. AL. In 1850, John Causey, wife Rebecca & several children are enum. twice in Coosa Co., once in Hatchett Creek Dist. and once in Coosa District. At least 4 of the 10 children of John & Rebecca Causey move to northern LA beginning in the 1850s. Anyway, the surname Roberson pops up alot, even in LA. Here are a few of my Robersons that I don't have parents or much info on--please take a look & see if anyone is familiar to you. 1. Ezekiel "Zeke" Roberson, b. 1821 in GA, married Mary A. E. Morgan and Rachel Scarborough, died aft. 1900 in Lincoln Parish, LA. Had 13 children by the 2 wives. 2. Penelope J. Roberson, dau. of unkn. Roberson and Caroline Unknown, b. 1842 in AL, married David B. Causey in 1858 in Coosa Co. AL, mother of 12. I lose track of her after 1900, husband David Causey d. 1904, buried at Pine Level Cem., Autauga Co. AL. 3. And of course, my g-g-g-grandmother, Rebecca Roberson, married John Causey 1810 Putnam Co. GA, in Coosa Co. by 1822, see first paragraph. If you can shed some light on any of these folks, I'd appreciate it. Would be happy to share what I have. Deb Dame Doyline, LA
