David J Johnson & Mary Ann MACON were married feb 6, 1842 in Macon Georgia. Mary Ann was a descendant of Nathaniel Macon, a senator from North Carolina. We know that the Johnson's came to Texas, but dont know for sure whether of not DAVID ever made it to TEXAS, do not know when or where he died. We know Mary Ann MACON JOHNSON was living in North Crockett county Texas in 1898 , on a ranch with two sons WILLIAM THOMAS JOHNSON AND JAMES WESLEY JOHNSON....We know that MARY ANN had lived for awhile in SAN ANGELO TX,, One son she lived with was JAMES WESLEY, who married Annie Dee Houghton who died sept 16 1934, buried in San Angelo Tx.......we desire so much to discover when Mary Ann JOHNSON died and where she is buried, and the same for her husband David J Johnson.
