Bell Rattle Cemetery is located on land owned by Mrs. Holman if I am not mistaken. It is gated and on a dirt road between Weogufka and Rockford. If you contact me privately, I can try to connect you with her. We visited there (if my memory serves me correctly) in the spring. There were a few recognizable graves.

I've a question regarding the Coosa Co Cemetery Books-- What about all the people buried in the unmarked graves? Are there any records, church or otherwise that can help us locate those exact burial sites? We know Grandpa is buried in an unmarked grave but aren't sure exactly which one? I've talked to others who say they have relatives also in unmarked graves. What to do? Thanks for any suggestions. Wayne, We all know that people miss things. I sent a distant cousin to an old Methodist cemetery in Anderson County, S.C. recently on his way to D.C. and he found the cemetery, but no sign at all of our mutual 4th great-grandfather's grave. Another distant cousin who lives maybe 30 miles away and had been there before, was concerned that something had happened to his grave, so went back the next week. His grave was still right where it had been and has two markers, one at the head and another brass foot marker placed by the local D.A.R. chapter, as he served in the Revolutionary War. This isn't even a large cemetery. I always like to go look for myself when it's a relative's grave, as I like to keep a photo record as well.
