    3. There is also Old Bethesda Cemetery in Equality..........on a dirt road.........Lots of graves there, including both sets of my g grandparents and many others. The church is gone, but a newer Bethesda church is in Equality. No cemetery at the new church.     3. I don't know where in Coosa County your Ellis family lived, but there was an Ellis family (colored) who lived in Equality for many years. Bessie Ellis and her children............not sure of her husband's name. I know Bessie was living there as late as the 1960's or 70's. She used to work for my Great Aunt, Ruby Bross. William, son of John and Mary Williams, is my line. I would like to compare our information in hopes that we might be able to solve the John H. and Mary Williams mystery as to what happened to them. I feel Mary must have died for her to have sent off her daughters with her son James M. to Texas. The youngest daughter not 10 yrs. old at that time. John and Mary sold land in Coosa Co. in 1859. We loose them after that. James went to Texas as the Civil War approached Ala. He later served from Texas.James married in 1862.
