Hello, everyone The following census listing are from the 1880 Coosa County, Alabama federal census. They are concurrent listings despite different page numbers (neighboring households). The first listing is the household of my known ancestor, Fleming Bryant, and his wife Ann M. Lowery. Ann was the daughter of Giles E. Lowery, Sr. and his wife Martha, of South Carolina. Does anyone know if the household next door to Fleming Bryant is the household of his father? I do know that Fleming's father was named William, born abt 1802, SC and his (first?) wife was named Sarah Jane, born abt 1810, SC. I feel that William C. Bryant probably is Fleming's father, but I'd like to ask around for anyone who might know this family, before I make that assumption. 1880 Coosa Co., AL Travelers Rest, Page 245C Fleming Bryant HOH 50 GA Farmer Fa: GA Mo: GA Anna M. It lists Hanover Cemetery, also identified as Andrews Chapel, as of September 1999. They have numerous projects ongoing, including cemetery listings, census transcriptions, etc. I'm afraid, however, that I don't know about the cemetery book. = Steve = -- Steve W. I received it also from "vick37" <[email protected]> -- Thank you,Lynda "It matters not whether you win or lose; what matters is whether I win or lose."
Since I posted to the list yesterday, I have begun receiving e-mails from vick37, that are apparantly generated by a virus... they only say to take a look to the attachment, and each e-mail has a different pif file attachment. I have not opened them, and have read that this is the badtrans virus going around. Does anyone know vick37, and could someone let them know about the virus they are sending out? Barbara
