    3. Dear Caroline, I really wish I could be there for the Aug 21 meeting but my husband is ill and we cannot travel very well. I enjoyed your short article about the trip to Germany you had planned. It was interesting because I have been doing some research on the Funderberg (and other spelling of the name). I was doing this because of my neighbors interest in her family and it`s name. She is very proud that she came from the Funderburg family which settled in the area around Cropwell, near Logan Martin Lake, and had large farms there. I gave her some land records on her family and some census`. After doing this I got my Autauga Co. magazine and then showed her your article about your planned trip. She said she had always wanted to make the same trip. Are the Funderbergs who came into Autauga ancestors of the ones who settled in that area? From the census and land records it appears that they settled in that area when the Indian lands were opened to settlement. Are you planning to write anything about your experiences on the trip you made? If so I would really love to share it with her. Her name is Nancy Funderburg Williams. Her husband who died a few years ago was Ed Williams. Their home is down the street a few houses from me in Springville Drive in Birmingham. I am wondering if you are my Wadsworth cousin that I met at a meeting in Prattville. I descended from Daniel Wadsworth`s son William. William settled in the little area called Wadsworth (up in the northeast corner of Autauga). I am thinking you descended from Malcom, William`s brother. Or maybe I am confused about who I met in Prattville. The article in a recent issus of the magazine was especially interesting to me. It was the article from an "old timer". I was wondering if the Daniel Wadsworth house he wrote about is the large home very on hwy 14 near the road where you turn to go down to the Wadsworth Farms? My husband and I visited the people who lived there a few years ago and they showed us through the house. It reminds me of the house I grew up in in Wadsworth which was built by William and was later passed on to his daughter who married Dr S W Jackson. S W was my grandfather. Well, enough of this. I enjoy the magazine so much and wish that I could attend the meetings but am unable to. Sincerely, Pauline Jackson ClarkeC

    3. Freda, Your gg-grandparents are listed in the book Coosa County, Alabama Marriage Records 1865-1900 that the historical has put together. There ae many "Robinson's", "Roberson's"and some "Robenson's" listed in the 3 Coosa County Cemetery books, I did not see your gg-grandparents. Could they have moved away after they were married?
