She was born July 19, 1921 in Coneuch County. She was a homemaker. Funeral services were held Sunday, january 30,2005 at 2 p.m. from the Chapel of Cope Funeral Home with Minister PPeter Cooper officiating. Burial was in Magnolia Cemetery, Cope Fuenral Home directing. Survivors include two sons, James Edward (Shirley) Adams, Excel and Joseph Michael (Kelley) Adams, Evergreen; four daughters, Addie Laura (Harry) Lynch, Owassao, Okla; Betty Sue ( Ronnie) Cato, East Brewton, Margie Kirksey (Buddy) Kirksey, Castleberry and Deborah (Richard) Holt, Lincoln, Neb.; one sister, Addie Lee Jackson, Evergreen; 13 grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren.
