My direct ancestor is Calvin Hall, 23rd AL Regiment Co. 'H' who enlisted in the CSA 1861along with brothers, uncles, etc. In 1864 his name appears as a signature on an oath of allegiance to the US at Chattanooga, TN which shows his place of residence as Conecuh County,AL. He is described as dark complected, brown hair and blue eyes. I would like contact with anyone of the Josiah Hall line. Thanks! Susan
