Jernigan You have the wedding announcement which I sent to you earlier which stated Witherington was from Belleville and that the couple headed to Evergreen after the service, I assume to make a home. Maggies parents were Henry Jernigan(1836-1910) and Mary Herrington(1845-1897). Henrys father was Alexander Jernigan who was the brother of Benjamin Jernigan,Jr., whom I descend from . Benjamin Jernigan is mentioned in Rileys' history of Conecuh County. Maggies brother, James Alexander Jernigan, married Sallie H.
