Elaine, quick question on your TRAVIS. Which one is your line? Mine is down thru EMILY K. TRAVIS BRANTLEY. Let me know. I have a brick wall of When, Where Emily K. died and Where she is buried at. She was living with her husband in Putnam County, Fl for the 1870 census but have info that her husband, Joseph V. Brantley married another lady in Jan of 1871. Then she disappeared. :) :) :) :) Joe Selma, Ca Borned Covington Co., Alabama dempeery wrote: > > > Begin forwarded message: > >> From: dempeery <[email protected]> >> Date: Mon Feb 3, 2003 11:06:26 AM US/Eastern >> To: "King" <[email protected]> >> Subject: Re: [ALCONECU] Murder Creek/Bellville Baptist Church >> Minutes/and other Conecuh County Data >> >> Thank you Bill for your work and email to the group. >> >> I am related to the Travis/Perryman/Hopson family. >> >> To clarify a few of your points: Research documented in the Andalusia >> Star News by Curtis Thompasson in 1999 notes that >> >> Alexander Travis' brother was Mark Travis. >> Alexander's nephew was William Barrett Travis. >> >> Thanks again.
