Henderson to Miss Emeranda Bryant. We extend our best wishes to the newly married couple, and trust that happiness may accompany them in their wedded state." "Brewton will be from now on the county site of Escambia county, and if the old adage holds good in this case, that "an object is appreciated in proportion to the pains it takes to acquire or preserve it," our sister town will certainly enjoy for a long time to come the happy privilege of being the capital of Escambia." "On Monday, the 7th day of May, there will be an election held in Evergreen for mayor and councilmen. The gentlemen nominated by the recent town convention will be acceptable to the voters and they will be elected without opposition. They are identified with Evergreen, and the interests of the town will be safe in their hands."
