It reminded me about something I have been meaning to ask: Does anyone know where the old Sepulga Lodge records might be kept? I'm not certain, but I think my g-gf E. L. BLACK was in this same lodge. I'm trying to determine his lodge name and number. He was part of a committee that signed a "Tribute of Respect" for D. D. BENNETT, a member of Sepulga Lodge # 232 (I think I posted that to the Butler Co. board). The Sepulga Lodge number (238) that I mentioned in this tribute to Allen Page could have been 232 as well. It was very difficult to read in the old South Alabamian newspaper (on microfilm). In short, does anyone know the correct number for this Sepulga Lodge and where I might find the old records? Thanks for any help on this. //////////////////////////////////////// hei go to _www.alagl.org_ (http://www.alagl.org) , (alabama grand lodge) ask grand secretary to please provide info you are looking for. the annual proceedings book (nov) will list current lodge plus any lodge created and when laid down. it is possible that there might be two lodges here. stefan bratt perdido, alabama 36562-0104 85.64548W 31.01109N ==== ALCONECU Mailing List ==== Conecuh Web page http://www.rootsweb.com/~alconecu ============================== Search Family and Local Histories for stories about your family and the areas they lived.
