from the Butler Co. News, 8-16-1951 GEORGE BARNEY PARKER George Barney Parker, age 76, died Saturday at 2 p.m. at his home on Route 3, Red Level. He has been ill for over five years. He was a retired farmer and a member of the First Baptist Church. He had lived in Red Level for the past 45 years. He is survived by three sons, Virgil G. Parker and George Parker, Route 3, Red Level, and Cyril F. Parker, Gadsden; two sisters, Mrs. Ella Foshee, Tuscaloosa and Mrs. Winnie Russell, Panama City; two grandchildren.
