Taliaferro Comes To The Parting One Of Evergreen's Oldest and Most Beloved Citizens Passes Peacefully to Her Reward 'Monday Morning at 9:30 o'clock, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W.H. Wild, witnessed the passing of one of the oldest and most beloved citizens of Evergreen, in the person of Mrs. Mary A. Taliaferro, aged 85 years. In apparently her usual good health, deceased was lying in her bed talking to her daughter who was sitting by her bedside when, without a struggle, she quietly went to sleep to awake in the better world. Her remains were laid to rest in the family lot in the Evergreen Cemetery Tuesday afternoon, the funeral services being conducted at the residence by her pastor, Dr. J.G. Dickinson, of the Baptist Church. She is survived by two sons, C.R. Taliaferro, a prominent business man of Evergreen and Dr. W.A. Taliaferro, pastor of a Baptist church in Georgia; and one daughter, Mrs. W.H. Wild, of Evergreen.'
