    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/4R.2ADE/949.1 Message Board Post: I was doing some research today on Post Roads, and such and thought you might want to get a copy of the following book: "Fort Mims And The Tensaw Settlement" compiled by Dess L. & Tom Sangster. It has a couple of pages about Stagecoaches in Alabama. There are also some other books about early Alabama that mentions stagecoaches--I'll look them up for you and get back to you on those. Have you checked the State Archives pages? One article in particular written by Bernice McMillan, of Stockton, AL goes into detail regarding Stagecoach Stops in Alabama in the 1800's--it's in the Ft Mims book. Hope this helps you in your research.
