Hello: I have a Sims ancestry but have only one bit of information. Sarah C. Sims married c1832 Talladega Co AL to James M. Kelley. They moved to Conecuh Co by 1840/50 and had a family there. My grand mother, Margaret Melissa Kelley who married James Johnson was their daughter. James Johnson was a son of John "Pealicker" Johnson and his first wife, Nancy Garlington Salter. Nancy was a d/o Samuel Salter and Mary "Polly" Cummings. Sarah C. Sims was thought to have been an orphan, but no information has been found on the Sims and Kelley families beyond the marriage in Talladega. There is a Kelley Springs in Talladega and a bit of information on some Sims names, but nothing found regarding Sarah. Would appreciate any help possible. Gertrude J. Stephens
