    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/4R.2ADE/1006.1.1.2.1.1.1 Message Board Post: Our problem is that we do not think the Reverend Kedar is the son of Joshua and Sarah. We think the Reverend is the son of the older Kedar, the one in the 1790 census of Robeson County, North Carolina. He as born in 1767. We know that my grandmother (X3) was Reverend Kedar's sister, and she was not the daughter of Joshua. He had a daughter named Sarah, but she married Ransom Dean. We do not know where the older Kedar (1767) was buried. We do know where the Reverend was buried and have photos of his grave site. He did not marry Eunice Wright, but the older Kedar may have. But we have no proof of that, but the age fits. Postings by the Wrights state that Kedar died in 1833; the Reverend died following the Civil War. In fact, he was in the Confederate Army at his advanced age. We have no knowledge of a Kaydon Hawthorne. There is a variation on the spelling of Kedar in the census of Conecuh county, but that person is too young to fit. Thanks for your response.
