Surnames: Lee Classification: Obituary Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/4R.2ADE/1597 Message Board Post: Luman Liston Lee, Jr., who co-owned Brantley-Lee Tire & Supply, died Tuesday, March 8, 2005 at his home in Evergreen, AL. He was 92 years of age. Mr. Lee was a native of Conecuh County, member of a prominent founding family, and a resident of Evergreen. He and Frances M. Jennings were married 12 Feb. 1935. This past year, Liston lost both his wife,Frances M. Jennings Lee; and his only sister, Mrs. Frances Lee Jones, of Hampden Ridge & Belleville area. Both Frances and Liston were active members of the Evergreen First United Methodist Church, and church family and friends mourn his passing. Survivors include two daughters, Juliana Mills of Birmingham and Betty Norman of Auburn; and three grandchildren. Visitation is set for Friday from 1 p.m. until the 2 p.m. funeral at the Evergreen First United Methodist Church on Deplouse St. Burial will be in the Magnolia Cemetery in Evergreen with Cope Funeral Home of Evergreen directing.
