Stephen Byrd was one of three brothers who came to Ala. from Marion County, SC or Prince George County, SC. It is believed that Stephen was the son of Arthur Byrd (NO PROOF) The 3 brothers were Stephen (1795), Jephtha (1797, and Moses (1800). No additional information on Martha Byrd Sims available.
