Evans BROOKS 55 Farm Laborer N.C. ------------- Does anyone recognize Jackson GOODWIN above? I have some (not much) info on Evan(s) BROOKS and would love to know if or how he relates to these or any other GOODWINS. ========= I have in my BROOKS family Vada Estelle BROOKS who in 1916 in Butler Co. Ala. married John W. COBB, son of Leana MIXON COBB, who married J. W. "Short" GOODWIN, 12-21-1893, in Conecuh Co. Ala. by J.W. STEWART, MG. According to his obituary, Short GOODWIN had a sister, M. A. DICKENS. I am not certain, but I believe she is Mary Ann, the wife of John DICKINS below.
