William Ethridge Brown b May 1859 - 1862 in Tenn ( from 1900 Census Gordo, Pickens Co, Ala) d July 22, 1919 in Houston, Harris County, Tx. Father was born in North Carolina. William Ethridge Brown married Zelpha Lowe January 3, 1901 in Gordo, Ala. They had the following children: Henry Brown born 1901/1903 Gordo, Ala; Allen H. Brown b August 15, 1905 Ala; Flora Belle Brown born about 1908 Ala; Shirley Brown (male) born 1911, William Ethridge Brown b 1913 and Charlie Brown born after 1913. Because William Ethridge Brown was about 40 when he married Zelpha we believe he may have been married before elsewhere. Any help you can give will be appreciated.
