Came across this one just lately. Evergreen Courant, Conecuh County, Feb. 1, 1945 Mrs. Tinsie Coker Dies In A Selma Hospital Mrs. Tinsie Coker, 54, died in a Selma Hospital Wednesday morning, Jan. 24, 1945, following a short illness. The funeral was held at 3 p.m. Thursday from the Methodist Church in Brownville, the Rev. Mr. Carlton officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery, Henderson Mortuary directing. Surviving are four sons, J.L. Coker and H.N. Coker, of Birmingham; Willian E. Coker, U.S. Navy; Frank W. Coker, U.S. Army; two daughters, Mrs. H.W. Majors, of Chestnut; Mrs. W.G. Braxton, of Birmingham; a brother, Henry Majors, of Chestnut; four sisters, Mrs. Sam Wright, of New Orleans; Mrs. Eula Hamilton, of Cecile; Mrs. A.P. Rogers, of Camden; Mrs. C.G. Curry, of Chestnut. Pall Bearers were:W.D. Lewis, John Ard, John Reid, Ted Bates, Douglas Skinner, John Goodwin, Sam Robinson, E.L. McInnis.
