James King. I am descended from Duncan King (1729-1793) and his wife Lydia Fosque (1749-1819) who lived in Bladen County, North Carolina. I have good reason to believe that Rev. James King was one of their sons, but have not been able to prove it. I have a newspaper article from 1926 that says Duncan and Lydia had a son, Rev. James King, who was a Methodist minister who moved from North Carolina to Alabama where he became a presiding elder in the Methodist Church.
