I believe the transcriber or the census taker made a mistake on the last names of Rawly and Thomas. Their last names should be PRUETT (see 1860 census). G. L. (George Lafayette) BROOKS (age 35) married S. F. HUDGINS (age 32) on Feb. 23, 1882 in Butler Co. Ala. She was Sarah Frances PRUETT before her first marriage. I'm trying to find more on the PRUETT (numerous spellings) family and the HUDGINS (Could this also be HUGGINS?)family as a way of learning about my BROOKS family.
