Mr. Johnston: I do not know your family. I am in Spanish Fort AL just across the Bay from Mobile. I pray you will get some word of your family. New Orleans took the full force of the hurricane, apparently. It is being totally evacuated, according to news. This area got hit pretty hard too, lots of flooding in Mobile and roads across the bay closed for a couple of days, power outages and telephones out. We got the backlash with winds stronger than any hurricane to date, but nothing like the coast of Mississippi and Louisiana.
