I have much info on their Arkansas family. I also have a good deal of info on John's father (William Witherington, Jr/wife-Sarah Stanley) and that entire family. There are a number of Ellis families from early Conecuh County, but we have tried with no results to link Mary Ellis to the Conecuh Ellis lines. I descend from Martha Caroline Witherington, oldest child of John & Mary Ellis Witherington. Martha Caroline married John T.
