She was born July 19, 1921, in Conecuh County. She was a homemaker. Funeral services were held Sunday, January 30, 2005, at 2 p.m. from the Bethel Primitive Baptist Church, with Elder Dan Cates officiating. Burial will be in Bushfield Cemetery, Johnson Funeral Home of Georgiana officiating. Survivors include three daughters, Mazell Bennett and Lucy Davis, both of Andalusia and Nelda Bates, Evergreen; one son, Wayne Bennett, Montgomery; three sisters, Vergie Wright, Red level, Gladys Huckaba, Georgiana and Lucy Kilgore, River Falls; two brothers, Earl Sharpe, Destin, Fla. and Jess Sharpe, Ozark; nine grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. ALLISON KAY WEST Allison Kay West, 22, of Fairhope died Saturday, Jan 29, 2005 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Birmingham. Miss West was a graduate of Bayside Academy and a senior at Samford University in Birmingham. A memorial service was held Wednesday, Feb. 2 at 11 a.m. in Fairhope United Methodist Church.
