Census records indicate that he had two daughters: Katie and Mary E. Bonds. Katie married Owen Keesee Cameron. I am searching for her date of death. Cemetery records indicate that she died in 1945 (when her husband died on 28 April 1945, he was listed as a widower). I have been unable to find her listed in the Alabama death index for 1945. I do not know who Mary E. Bonds married but I am sure that if she did marry she would have married in Colbert County, Alabama. The following is the current information that I have on the family: John Columbus Bonds (9 April 1836-12 December 1917) married (1)Allurah Celestia Barber (19 August 1853-1 October 1872) on 4 October 1869 in Chambers County, Alabama, and (2)widow Margarette Rebecca Hunter Fuller (4 September 1848-26 March 1914.note: tombstone has 19 March 1914 as date of death but death certificate indicates that she died 26 March 1914) on 28 September 1875 in Chambers County, Alabama, and later settled in Sheffield, Colbert County, Alabama. The children of John Columbus and Margarette Rebecca Hunter Fuller Bonds were: Katie/Katie Bonds (1876-1945) married Owen Keesee Cameron (22 November 1870-28 April 1945); and Mary E. This is very strange. I have an ancestor named "John the Baptist" Bonds and he had a daughter named Mary Bonds. But they were from Maury County, Tennessee.
