Hello, I am looking for information on Martha Sargent who died in 1925 and was wondering if there might be a obit for her anywhere. Also some of my family have been buried in Crooked Oak Cemetery and are not listed on the cemetery site. Is there anyway of finding out everyone that is intered into that cemetery, a list somewhere are anything? Also I am searching for the death date of Nancy J. Sargent who married Gorden Johnson, she is listed in the 1920 census in Colbert Co. with her son Joseph Johnson and his family. She is 56 and I can not find her in 1930. They were living in the Tuscumbia precinct at that time. Also looking for Dona Sargent who married a William Dowdy and last I can find any info on them is that W S. Dowdy died in 1925 and also is buried in Crooked Oak Cemetery. Dona would have been only 43 yrs old. Did she remarry? Her given name was Alice C. and she married William under these initials A. C. Sargent , so she might have given these initials again if she remarried. There was also a brother to Nancy and Dona named Edward Sargent born 1878 that I know nothing about except his was in Bowie Co. Texas in 1900 and he was single at that time. Also there was another brother James Lee that went by Lee that was born 1871 that I know nothing about and can not find him. This family and its descendants seemed to move from Miss, Al, Ark, and Texas a lot. with a few settling here and there. I am going on a genealogy trip to Tenn in May and need as much info as I can get to help me. I would appreciate any help at all. I have been hard at work on this line for about six years and have quit a bit on them, but there are these things that I still do not know any help would be great. Carol
