Fran, Brown-Service sold burial insurance that many people in Alabama purchased in the 1930's ,1940's and 1950's . And many Funeral homes were operated by Brown-Service. People could be buried in a cemetery of their choice. So your husband's great-grandmother could be buried anywhere. If you can provide her name, birth and death dates that would help, as well as where she lived. Many of the cemeteries have been surveyed.
