Bryant JP1, daughter of GILES BRYAN and ANNICE LOPER. She was born Abt. 1861 in Near Antioch Church (Coffee) Al.1, and died Abt. 18851. Notes for MARY JANE BRYANT: [william cook of virginia.FTW] Jane is listed as daughter of Ferd and Annis Bryant age 9 born in Al. in 1870 Coffee County Al. census. Jane was said to have married Dock Hall. Their children were Andrew, Marion, and Dora. It is said that Jane hung herself because of bad health. She lived in Newby. Marriage record, Coffee County Al. marriage records book 1 page 87. 1880 Coffee Co. Al. ED 45, Sht 6, Line 35, Brannen, Mary Jane 18, b. Al. is wife of Daniel Hall, 28 b. Al. Mary's father, Ferdinan Briant, 47 Al. is living with them. Also Mollie Smart age 4, Al. is listed as an adopted daughter. Death date estimated that she probably died about 1885 because her husband and 2nd. wife are listed in 1900 census as having been married 16 years. Mary's last child was born Nov. 1884.
