Posted on: Coffee County Alabama Queries Reply Here: http://cgi.rootsweb.com/~genbbs/genbbs.cgi/USA/Al/Coffee/10494 Surname: HUTCHISON, COLE, STEVENS ------------------------- Believe I've had success in finding gr grandfather, Ollie C. Hutchison on 1880 census, ED #44, Haw Ridge/Centerville. Listing is as follows: HUTCHISON, Tom, Head, B/M, 51 yrs, Farmer, b. SC HUTCHISON, Susie, Wife, B/F, 48 yrs, Sleeping House, b. FL HUTCHISON, Oliver, Son, B/M, 19 yrs, b. AL HUTCHISON, Delia, Servant, B/M, 11 yrs, b. AL Tom's father was born in SC and his mother in VA Susie's father was born in GA and so was her mother Ollie's death certificate says his father's name was Doc. Ollie also had a son named Doc(k). In papers left by my mother, she makes mention of a Doctor Thomas. This was either my gr grandfather's name, my gr uncle's name, or both. In addition to the above mentioned names, this is the rest of my family as I know it so far: Ollie C. Hutchison (C stands for either Cole or Columbus) married Lizzie Stevens. Lizzie was full blooded Indian and I'm having heck of a time tracing her. Their children were, starting with 1900 census: Clem, b. 1883 Chester, b. 1886 Lillie, b. 1888 Coss, b. 1890 Nolar, b. 1891 John Elijah, b. 1892 Dock, b. 1897 Novy, b. 1898 Dora Mae, b. 1900 Noah Louis, b. 1903 Ike, b. 1906 Eunice, b. 1908 Lizzie had total of 14 children, 2 of which died by the 1910 census. If any names match anyone else's, any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Brenda
