    3. Hello All, I sometimes do get a pat on the back for my efforts as the following letter shows. Letters of testiment to the locating of a loved one who has been sought is a tremendous pleasure for me, as I know that it is for the searcher. If anyone has anwers to any of Maxine's queries, please address them to her at maxine@bgnet.bgsu.edu In advance, thank you to anyone who can help. See letter below this letter, please. And, for all of the ALCOFFEE mailing list mothers, I wish you a very happy Mother's Day. Sincerely, Phyllis J. K. Hi Phyllis: I found two different addresses for you on the Coffee Co. AL Web page, so am sending to both, hoping one will get to you. I am so excited. I just found my g-grandmother's maiden name last week, and a nice person sent me her obit which was in the Southern Christian Advocate. He was the one that gave me my g-grandmother's maiden name. He's a Smith research too, but we didn't have a connection, however, he has lots on Smith's not in his line, so he graciously shared. Do you know where the Southern Christian Advocate was located? She died in 1873 and is buried in Coffee Co. AL. On your wonderful web site, tonite, I found her name and her grandson's name on the listing for Haw Ridge Cemetery. It also says, same as Zion Haw Ridge and Ebenezer? I'm confused. Also, Ozark, not in Coffee Co. but in Dale? The cemetery on the line? Is it Coffee Co. or Dale County? What is the name of the town where the cemetery is located. Does the Genealogical Society there have a Cemetery Book Published? If they do, I would really appreciate someone looking up the following for detail information: Listed on Coffee Co. page Haw Ridge Cemetery Mitchell Dade Smith 1884 (should be Mitchel McDade) (Sara's grandson) Sara A. Smith (my g-grandmother) her full name is Sara Ann Frances (Danielly) Smith I would really like to know if they have head stones and which cemetery, for sure, they are in. There is just a number preceeding their names. 165, and 167 respectively. Also, how do I post my querie on Coffee Co. page. Couldn't find where I could post in Dale Co. either. Can you help? I would like to share my information in both counties, especially in Coffee Co. now that I know for sure my folks were there. Tomorrow I intend to call that Funeral Home you mentioned with the Cemetery description. You said they didn't mind opening their records? I hope they have them that far back. I've been looking for my g-grandmother's maiden name for more than 10 years, and also where she is buried. There must be an Angel helping me as I found both in less than two weeks. I waited until I retired to get serious with my genealogy and I took sick. Fighting my 3rd cancer right now, so I've not been able to travel like I wanted to, so I depend on the Internet. Tonite, because of your wonderful page, the Internet has paid off for me big time! Thank you so much. I have my Smith (I was a Smith) information in a large notebook laid out just like I want to print it in a book and donate to Genealogical & History Center where ever my folks were. I have two grandsons that have promised to carry on my work. Tonite was so special, well it's morning already, but I'm so thrilled to see my g-gradmother's name on your Web page...there are no words... Hoping to hear back from you real soon. I will greatly appreciate anything you can do to help me. I'll be glad to pay also. This is sooooo wonderful, you will never know. I'm a great-grandmother 7 times and it has broken my heart not to know where my own great-grandmother Smith was buried. Thanks, Maxine Allen
