Hi Shirley, According to an index of marriages in Coffee County, Alabama, the marriage of "W.P. Rudd to Susan Prescott" is recorded in Book 2-378. W.P. is William Penn Rudd and the marriage occurred on april 24, 1881. What other Rudds are you researching in Coffee County? I have two gr-gr-uncles who lived there and died there. Wm Penn is related to me as well though through a different line to an earlier grandfather.
