    1. [ALCOFFEE] NO Yons in Texas
    2. Alma Yohn
    3. Christine I know so little about my husbands ancestors that I can't be certain some others did not move to Texas. I do know that his immediate family is not aware of any relatives here. I have found a lot of Yons in Florida. My husband's grandfather Thomas Derrell Yohn was born in Holmes Co., Fl., he married Julia Easter Hornsby in Coffee Co., Al. and his children Thomas Perry Yohn and Era Mae Yohn Rachels Gardner were born there. Also, there are many Yons in South Carolina. I found the following article taken from the South Carolinian: The State of South Carolina, Orangeburg District, Jesse Yon applicant against ISAAC YON and other defendants. It appears that Isaac Yon, John Yon, the children of Henry Varnido, the children of Joseph Yon and Jesse Yon son of Martin Yon, defendants, reside without this state; It is therefore ordered that they do appear and object to the division or sale of the real estate of Rachael Yon, deceased. Ordinary's Office August 28,1846, S. Glover, O.O.D. I would love to think that this Isaac Yon is my husband's ggrandfather and these are some of his kin, but I just can't get enough information to know. Do any of these names sound familiar to you?
