I did find this on Ancestry.com: Rosanna Yawn Dale Co., Al. Page 189 Newton P.O. Seaborn Yawn Dale Co., Al. Page 189 Newton P.O. Perry Yawn Dale Co., Al. Page 190 Newton P.O. J.A. Yawn Dale Co., Al. Page 190 Newton P.O. Yawn is another of the many different spellings I have found on some of the YOHN_YON_YONE records. I know this is our Rosanna Yon because on another census her children were listed. Since they are all from the same area, I feel sure they are kin. My husband's father was Thomas Perry Yohn and I wonder if he could have been named after this Perry Yon. So many unanswered questions. I would appreciate any information on the Yon family that you might have. Thanks Alma chriswon wrote: > Alma, > > I was reading your information about your Yon/Yohn line. My great-grandmother was Julie Ann Elizabeth Yon (1866-1957), daughter of Seaborn Yon and Betsy Cochran. I believe that she was from the Coffee/Geneva Counties area, or possibly the Walton/Holmes Counties area in Florida. Do you think that this might be part of your line?
