Here is my reply from Alice Bice, wife of the Publisher of our Heritage Book: Phyllis, Thank you so much for your concern. Our family is holding on with prayers. David's prostate cancer is considered either killed or stunted after the radiation and the doctor is giving him a normal life expectancy now. Our daughter-in-law in Wisconsin, Sonya, who has the lukemia is still under going her maintenance chemo through Jan. 14, 2002. After that time we are in a wait and see mode, hopefully and prayerfully that it will remain in remission. She and our son, Danny, have 3 of our grandchildren (ages 8, 6, & 5) and definitely have their hands full. We are trying to leave it in God's hands, but sometimes we fail, but keep pressing on knowing He is in control. Our other daughter-in-law in WV who had the gall stone over in the pancreas has a small cyst on her pancreas and is a little concerned about that. The doctor is waiting a few weeks to do another ultrasound to see if it has increased or decreased in size to determine the next step. It does get over whelming sometimes, but we are in God's Hands and we just have to remind our selves of this daily. Now, about work. The committee will be receiving the last of the proofs this weekend. It is moving right along. We estimate the book being out early Fall of this year.
