    3. I couldn't find reference to the web site pushing DNA testing for genealogy so I don't know how they expect to match living people who are generations apart. If you are an adpoted peron into genealogy to find a natural parent, I could see a benefit. That's it! Otherwise, are you going to start digging up graves? Several generations back, would have so many outside influences, you could only accomplish anything by digging up each generation on the family tree. I find this repulsive. it is even more difficult since my family past grandparents in Alabama seem to be in graves whose markers have gone. I agree that we can find things far more valuable to do with the money than to make the technology generally available, much less the digging up process. I'm really interested in finding my heritage, but this is just an excess that isn't important enough to use the resources, has the potential to invade our privacy, and invade the dignity of our ancestors. It may be important to some to try to save people who have gone to their reward long ago by baptizing them into a new religion but I don't want any of my ancestors messed with even if they are also yours. They have their right to keep what they believed with no one else trying to change them retroactively. Right or wrong, I like to make my decisions and I think my people have a right to theirs whether we agree or not. Peg
