My grandfather, John David Cannon, is listed on the 1900 federal census of Coffee County, Alabama. He and his family were in Precinct 11, Simmons Mill. I have a general highway map of Coffee County from the Alabama Department of Transportation, 1993 edition, but cannot find Simmons Mill on it. Can someone please tell me where Simmons Mill is or was?
