Marsh Bowdoin, William was born in Granville Co., NC about 1786, son of James, Sr. and Priscilla Williams Bowdoin. He moved with his father and family to Edgefield District, So. Carolina. He died about 1865 in Monroe Co., Georgia and may be buried in the old Bowdoin cemetery which was removed to a new location by the Geogia Power Corp. near Juliette, GA. He married Martha Smith 12-04-1806 I Baldwin Co., GA. She was born in 1790 in GA and died in Monroe Co., GA. About 1865. Their son, William A. Bowdoin, was born in 1808 in GA, is my ancestor. Turner is his brother, as is Simeon Travis, John W., and Alfred Benjamin. His sisters are Martha W., and Mary Jane. Martha married Jason L. B. Champion and Mary Jane married Thomas M. McCommon.     3. Thank you Rhonda. I did not have this info and no access to the Book. Emeline "Lucinda" Bowdoin d/o Turner & Rebecca, married Samuel Waylon Stinson. They were my husband's. GGGGgrandparents. I appreciate it very much. Winn Stinson
