I need to call Darlene to make sure for I go home on that day to help with the cemeteries. We all go to the cemeteries, clean up and place new flowers on our loved ones graves. Actually, we clean the day before Decoration Day so it is nice for all to visit when they bring new flowers. Do all areas do this? I know they use to do this in Dale Co., sure they did it in Coffee also, . while reading some of the Old Newspaper (Southern Star), i would come across the Clean up dates for certain Cemeteries :-) Also I Got a hold of the Man who does the restoring of tombstones, and he sounded like he would come down and do it with help from someone in the area, he is having a back operation some time this year, so i did not come right out and ask him because of his back, he lives on the other side of Atlanta and that is a pretty good drive for him.
