Looking for info on his first marriage wife= full/correct name I have Sarah Alice Children = I have only a THOMAS dob abt 1869 according to the 1880 census (John was with his Second Wife at this time. Red Level, Covington co., Alabama). I do know from family Folklore that his children by the first wife would have been born in the late 1850 to the late 1860s. Their STEPMOTHER was in their SAME AGE GROUP and they had a problem with that. Stepmother was born 1856. I AM A DESCENDENT OF THE FIRST CHILD BY HIS SECOND WIFE. She was borned Dec 2, 1880. I have their marriage to the 2nd wife as Nov 25, 1878 in Evergreen, Conecuh Co., Alabama. Any info would be appreated. Joe
