I'm hoping someone local can send me a copy or transcribe to me an obituary for my Aunt Vassie. She lived in a nursing home in Elba and she died around Easter time this year. I was told the obit was in the Opp News but I called them and they could not find it, they suggested that it was in the Elba Clipper. If anyone has access to that paper and would send me the information I sure would appreciate it. Shelby in FL
Hey Shelby, I looked online on the Enterprise Ledger and the Dothan Eagle newspapers and could not find it. I looked the week of Easter. Maybe someone local can find it. The Dothan Eagle is the largest paper around in that area, I think.. pat. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Shelby Corcoran" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, April 15, 2005 6:22 AM Subject: [ALCOFFEE] Need obit for Vassie M. What is her full name? Phyllis J. K. Owens Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, Dark Hershey's Chocolate Bar, chocolate-peanut clusters, and Hershey's kisses in one hand, Pepsi, moon pies, peanut butter and all the Beich banana kisses one can hold in the other hand, chewing Wrigley's Juicy Fruit gum, body throughly worn out and screaming happily "WooHooo! What a ride!! Yeah!! Yeeeehaaaa!!" ----- Original Message ----- From: "Pat Overby" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Friday, April 15, 2005 9:15 AM Subject: Re: [ALCOFFEE] Need obit for Vassie M.
