Is Othene Hattaway related to these people? Joseph Jerrell Coon (b. 1847) married Sarah Elizabeth Russell and they had a son named John Calvin Coon (b. 1876) who married Ida Lou Hattaway and they had a daughter named Minnie Pearl (b. abt. 1914) who married Vergie Ree Anderson (b. abt. 1900). Vergie Ree was son of Gabriel Webster "Web" Anderson and his 1st wife Mindie (nee?). I'm trying to find out more about Minnie & Vergie, i.e.: actual birth & death dates, where buried, who were their children, etc. Would appreciate any help from anyone. Shelby, All I have right now is Johnson S. Hattaway (b:march 1876 d:oct 1955), buried in Kinston City Cemetery. His first wife's maiden name was Pierce, don't know her given name. They had 2 sons that I know of (George Dewey Hattaway( b:march 1899 d:nov 1984) buried Kinston City Cemetery. James M. Hattaway b: 1902.. I have a Clara Emmaline (Emma) Hattaway (b: aug 1857 d:nov 1942) buried in Kinston City Cemetery,married John Lewis Coon and had 15 children. I don't know the connection of the 2 Hattaways as yet..
