Her mother was possibly Ann Adams so maybe that is where your confusion is coming from. 1860 Coffee Ct., AL census lists her with daughters Nancy, Elizabeth & Sally .She was widowed in the 1900 Geneva Ct., AL census age 58 born in April 1843 living with her sons John & C.M. & daughters Virginia, & N.E.
