Their wives' name are unfamiliar to me. I am sure I have missed this big picture since my parents and I moved to Bainbridge, Georgia when I was 3 years old. As recent as two years ago, while we drove to Hope, Ala, by a chance I found my long-lost cousin, Mrs. Ward (formerly Dyess) who was the daughter of Jack Dyess. Are you familiar with this family. My father's name was Alfred (Pete) Dyess (B: 1/1/1917 was the last child of Charles Quillen Dyess and Emma Nell Watson; grandson of George J. (Probably Jasper) Dyess and Frances Narricuss Hall. All of them lived in Coffee County, Ala. My mother, Ann Mae Green born and raised in Pike County -- a stone thrown from Coffee Co. -- was the last child of Henry Green and Elizabeth Houston of Pike Co. Do you have the connection to these families? Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
